“An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.”
Change is Possible…
Some may remember the time when smoking cigarettes was not only socially accepted, but even accepted by doctors! Today, it is hard to imagine a world where cigarettes could be smoked on planes or advertised by sports teams. So, what changed? Two things:
1) Studies came out revealing the harms of cigarette smoking.
2) Communities came together in an effort to protect their children.
What if we told there that there is science that shows the factors that lead us toward (or away from) BEHAVIORAL health?
The science alone, however, isn’t what creates change. It requires community activism. It requires people of various walks of life to come together to make a difference in the lives of the generations to come.
Communities that Care is HOW the change can happen. YOU are the WHO is going to make it happen.
